Real Women Overcome Odds

Oftentimes, we let little things get to us. Even something as simple as bad rush-hour traffic or a missed appointment can ruin our day. It's these times that we need to hear inspirational tales that help us learn to appreciate life. Here, in the following weeks, we’ll feature stories and articles that inspire real women to overcome real obstacles and embrace everything life has to offer.
At some point in a woman's life, there comes an event or a moment that tests her - who she is, who she wants to be, where she will go next or what she's made of.
She has to decide whether to get up, dust herself off and keep going. She has to choose between keeping quiet or speaking up. She has to work through heartache. She has to do what she knows is right, no matter the consequences. She has to choose to lead. Or she has to take a chance.
If everything is smooth sailing right from the beginning, we cannot become people of substance and character. By surmounting paining setbacks and obstacles, we can create a brilliant history of triumph that will shine forever. That is what makes life so exciting and enjoyable. In any field of endeavour, those who overcome hardships and grow as human beings are advancing towards success and victory in life.
